Hold for the long horizon.
Our base case is to own each Herfa company permanently. We measure ourselves in decades.
Herfa is a privately-held company. We do not raise public capital, but we work with a small circle of co-investors who share our generational view of West African ownership.
Herfa Group is privately held by its founder and the operating leadership of its companies. We have funded growth entirely from internal capital for eleven years, and we have never raised an outside round.
From time to time, we welcome co-investors into individual companies — never into the Group itself — where the chemistry and the horizon are right. We typically partner with one of three kinds of capital:
Family offices with West African mandates and a multi-generational view. Development finance institutions investing in agriculture, food security and housing. Strategic operators in our sectors looking for a Ghanaian operating partner with a real track record.
If that sounds like you, we would be glad to talk.

Free cash flow is returned to the companies that generate it, or redeployed across the Group, before it is ever paid out.
Every company has a real board, real audit and real reporting. The Group office holds itself to the standard it asks of its operators.
We will only partner with capital we would want at our table for the next twenty years. The right partners and the right terms are non-negotiable.
Herfa Group is, and will remain, a privately-held company. Public markets reward a horizon that is not ours.
